So i didn't post a new desktop last week because i didn't finish one. but i think i'll use the "i was at LA for 4 days" as an excuse.
this desktop is entirely vectored (minus the background which was a picture i found online). i think i integrated the taskbar aspects better in this desktop than all my past ones. also, this is one of my more simplistic desktops because vectoring can be a pain at times so most of my time was spent doing than instead of filling it up. i might consider fitting in a tree or more people later, but for now i'll consider this desktop complete.

In a spur of the moment sort of inspiration, i have decided to give myself a sort of mini-project in order to create a facade of productivity this summer.

Over the years, i have been creating taskbars to match with wallpapers. Initially i had it going about once a month, later dragging it to once every other month because i had no motivation other than getting bored with a desktop.

However! I am now going to try and pump out a new desktop once a week. YES. once a week. i will be a desktop producing machine.
i've just about mastered the basic techniques required to making these taskbars, so it shouldn't take more than a few hours at a time.

Also, i've realized a few of you (like, two people?) have requested some of my desktops, and i have consistently ignored your requests (ahah).
well, with a beta run sort of dealie (thanks joanna), i can now efficiently send these bad boys to you if you guys so desire.

For my ease, the desktops will all have the same shell, but i will design them to be unique and appropriate to the wallpaper it matches.

I realize only a handful will find this interesting, but nonetheless, i'll post a screenshot of a weeks work and perhaps you can enjoy it.
i'll also upload it to my facebook album, with my past works.

yay for productivity!

**Conclusion**
I have realized that you can't rush nor schedule art (not saying my projects are particular works of art, but its artsy nonetheless). What sucks most about these things is its like writing an essay you don't need to do. Yet, you don't want it to sound like crap, so you continuously proof it until you're satisfied. However, in the process, you remember that you don't even need to be working on this, which essentially one-hit KO's your motivation.

From this point on, I will make desktops as I please. Thank you.

plus today felt like how summer should feel. and it was warm enough to wear shorts.
